How to Backup / Restore Android Phone Data

1.Back up the important data on your Android device

Step 1. Download and install the Wondershare MobileGo on your computer. Remember to choose the right version for your computer.

Step 2. Launch it on your computer. And then connect your Android device to your computer with a USB cable or with the help of WIFI if you have the MobileGo app on your Android device.

Step 3. Choose the “One-click Backup” function on the right of the primary window.

Step 4. Now you will see a little window, showing that all kinds data on your Android device are ready to be backed up. And of course, you can uncheck the ones that you don't want.

Step 5. And you also need to choose a suitable path for the backup file on your computer before you finally click on the “Backup” button.

2.Restore the backup files on your Android device

Step 1. Open the Wondershare MobileGo on your computer. And then connect your Android device to your computer with a USB cable or by scanning the QR code.

Step 2. Then on the main toolbar, you need to click the second one from left, called the “Super Toolkit” button. And then you can easily find the “Restore” button with a “renovate” icon in the “Essential” section.

Step 3. Then the window of restore will show up. And you need to choose the specific backup file that you want to restore this time.

Step 4. After you choosing the backup file, the contents of the backup file will be displayed on the primary window. Simply choose the file types that you want to restore on your Android.

Step 5. If you want to clear all the data on your Android device before restoring the backup file, you can check on the option of “Clear data before restoring”. And thus, all the data on your Android device will be replaced with the data on the backup file you choose.
